Kindroid Pricing (2026): Plans, Ultra, MAX, Real Cost

What does Kindroid cost?

Kindroid sells one Standard subscription on three terms, two optional monthly add-on tiers, and packs of selfie credits, audio credits and extra slots. Kindroid’s own docs do not print dollar prices. They say the exact price for your country and platform appears at checkout, and that web is usually cheaper than the App Store or Google Play. The prices below are the US App Store prices.

Ultra and MAX are monthly only, with no 3-month or yearly option. Kindroid limits them to active users with significant chatting and calling history. If Standard lapses, the account becomes read-only even if Ultra or MAX is still active, and their billing continues.

What does Standard include?

The subscriptions doc lists these Standard benefits:

• Unlimited access to the newest flagship models
• 10 Kindroids and 20 group chats, with more for sale
• Voice calls and video calls, and custom voices
• Selfies, video selfies, group selfies and daily selfie rewards
• Cascaded memory, enhanced long-term memory and complimentary monthly audio credits
• Internet access, proactive messages, calendar integration and early beta features

The size of the complimentary monthly audio grant is not stated in the doc. The trial gives 150k audio credits at the start and 850k on conversion to a paid plan.

What do extras cost?

These are the App Store prices for in-app purchases. You need an active subscription or trial to buy any of them.

How far audio credits go. Audio credits are charged per character of speech, with a multiplier by voice model: V2 at 1x, V3 and V3 Fast at 1.5x, V4 and V4 Fast at 1.75x. Kindroid estimates a 500k pack at about 500 minutes on V2, 333 minutes on V3 and 286 minutes on V4. New Kindroids default to V4 Fast. So $14.99 ÷ 286 minutes is about $0.052 a minute. Kindroid says audio packs are sold at breakeven.

Not stated. Kindroid does not publish the credit cost of a voice-call minute, a video call or a video selfie. Paid selfie credits make video selfies “at discounted rates”, shown in the app.

Paid credits are used only after the complimentary ones run out. Unused paid credits carry over to the next month. If you unsubscribe, they stay on the account but work only after you subscribe again.

What does a realistic month cost?

Four typical months, with our arithmetic. App Store prices; web is usually lower.

Chat only, yearly. $159.99 ÷ 12 = $13.33 a month.

Chat plus a selfie a day, monthly. About 30 selfies needs one 50-pack: $15.99 + $6.99 = $22.98 a month. Daily selfie rewards may cover some of these.

Heavy voice user, monthly. About 4.5 hours of Kindroid speech beyond the free grant needs one 500k pack (about 286 minutes on V4 Fast): $15.99 + $14.99 = $30.98 a month. Calls are billed in audio credits, and Kindroid does not publish a per-minute call rate, so treat this as an estimate.

Power user with Ultra. $15.99 + $28.99 = $44.98 a month. Add MAX and it is $15.99 + $28.99 + $68.99 = $113.97 a month.

Monthly, 3 months or yearly?

• Monthly. 12 × $15.99 = $191.88 a year.
• 3 months. 4 × $42.99 = $171.96 a year. Saves $19.92.
• Yearly. $159.99. Saves $31.89 against monthly.

Kindroid’s yearly discount is smaller than most companion apps’, about 17%. Returning subscribers may be offered 50% off their first month after a lapse, once.

Web or App Store: where should you buy?

Kindroid says buying on the web is usually cheaper than through the App Store or Google Play, for both the subscription and the packs. It does not say by how much, and web prices appear only at checkout, so we cannot give a figure. Three things to weigh before you choose:

• Price. Check the web checkout price against the App Store price in this report. If the web is lower, the saving repeats every renewal.
• Switching. You cannot move a subscription between iOS, Android and web until the current one ends. If you buy a yearly plan on the App Store, you stay there for the year.
• Changes. The web applies upgrades and downgrades at once with a prorated charge. On iOS the change waits for the next billing date, and on Android you must let the plan end first.

Your subscription follows your Kindroid login, not your device, so a web subscription still works in the phone apps. For most readers, the web is the better place to pay: likely cheaper, more payment methods and easier plan changes.

Trial, refunds and cancellation

Trial. New users get 3 days with most subscriber perks, but chats use the Ember model. Polaris and legacy models unlock when the trial converts. The trial needs a payment method and converts automatically unless cancelled. Kindroid emails a reminder one day before. On the web, the trial needs a verified mobile number, and some regions do not offer it on the web. Starting a trial ends the free preview for good.

Refunds. Considered case by case; “generally, sales are final”. In-app purchases are not refundable. Users who dispute charges may be permanently banned, and suspended accounts get no refund for unused time.

Cancelling. On the web: Profile, then Billing, then Kindroid Standard Subscription, then Manage. Ultra and MAX are cancelled separately. On iOS and Android, cancel in the store’s subscription settings.

Switching. On the web, upgrades and downgrades apply at once with a prorated charge. On iOS, the new interval starts at the next billing date. On Android, you must wait for the subscription to end and resubscribe. You cannot move between iOS, Android and web until the current subscription ends.

Payment methods

On the web, Kindroid accepts all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Cash App and other options. Prepaid cards must go through PayPal, and gift cards are not accepted. In the apps, you pay through the App Store or Google Play. Some US accounts see a “Pay direct on web” option in the app for web prices.

Cheaper alternatives

• Nomi: best value. Free chat with no card, memory that rivals Kindroid’s, and voice calls. Launch yearly is $59.99 and Standard yearly $99.99 on the App Store.
• ourdream.ai: media in the plan. 1,000 dreamcoins a month (homepage FAQ) for images, video and calls, with published coin prices.
• Candy AI: lowest steady yearly price. Unlimited chat, but only 100 tokens a month for media.
• DreamGF: cheapest first year. It renews at double, and refunds nothing after use.

How we compared

We read Kindroid’s subscriptions doc, in-app purchases doc, legal page and age-verification doc, and its US App Store listing, last checked on 25 October 2026. Kindroid’s docs give no dollar figures, so every price here is from the App Store listing. Web prices are shown only at checkout, and Kindroid says they are usually lower.

All per-month, per-unit and yearly figures are our own arithmetic from published numbers, and each shows its working. Where Kindroid does not publish a figure, such as call-minute credit costs or the monthly audio grant, we say “Not stated”. The full process is on our methodology page.

Which one should you choose?

Choose Kindroid yearly ($159.99, or less on the web) if you want the most complete companion: documented memory, voice and video calls, and every platform. Use the free preview first, then the 3-day trial, and cancel before it converts if you are unsure.

Skip Ultra and MAX unless you already hit Standard’s limits. They add $28.99 and $68.99 a month and need a long chat history to unlock.

Budget for extras. A selfie a day adds about $7 a month, and heavy calling about $15.

Choose Nomi if price comes first. Its free chat costs nothing, and its Launch yearly plan saves $100 a year against Kindroid.
