Candy AI Pricing (2026): Plans, Tokens, Real Cost

What does Candy AI cost?

Candy AI sells one Premium subscription on three billing terms. The shorter the term, the higher the monthly price. All three include the same features and the same 100 tokens a month.

The subscriptions page shows the 12-month plan as “70% off” a $13.99 regular price, and the 3-month plan as 35% off. It also shows two billing amounts, $9.79 every 2 weeks and $5.60 weekly, without saying which plan they belong to. The page says plans renew automatically “for the same price and term”, and that the charge shows as EverAI on your bank statement. Additional local taxes may apply.

Premium Plus is a higher tier described in Candy’s help center. It raises the monthly token grant to 330 and adds 20 memory slots. Candy does not publish its price on the public subscriptions page, so we mark it “Not stated”.

What does each plan include?

Every Premium term lists the same benefits on the subscriptions page:

• 100 tokens per month

The free account is a preview. It gives 5 messages, 1 custom character and 1 image. There is no free trial of Premium described on the subscriptions page, although the homepage mentions a free trial without giving its length or token amount.

Chat is the part you pay for once. Everything else uses tokens: images, video clips, voice messages, voice calls and new custom companions all draw on the same monthly 100.

What do tokens cost per action?

This is the weak point of Candy’s pricing. Candy does not publish a token cost for any single action on its public pages. The homepage says only that “the more detailed your companion, the more tokens you’ll use”.

A third-party pricing review reports that Candy’s referral page calls 200 tokens “a $20 value”, which implies about $0.10 per token. That is a valuation, not a published pack price. The tokens store shows packs only after you sign in.

What does a realistic month cost?

Because chat is unlimited and media is metered, your cost depends on how much media you want. Here are three typical months on the 12-month plan, with our arithmetic. Media figures use the third-party rate of about 4 tokens per image and about $0.10 per token, so treat them as estimates.

Chat only. $47.88 ÷ 12 = $3.99 a month. The 100 tokens go unused, and the terms say they do not carry over once the subscription ends.

Chat plus some photos. 100 tokens ÷ 4 tokens per image = about 25 images a month, still $3.99 a month.

Chat plus heavy photos. 50 images a month needs 50 × 4 = 200 tokens. The plan covers 100, so you buy about 100 more. At about $0.10 per token, that is about $10. Total: $3.99 + $10 = about $13.99 a month, the same as the monthly plan’s regular price.

On the monthly plan, the same three months cost $13.99 each after the first month, before any extra tokens. So the yearly plan saves about $10 a month on chat alone. Video and calls are where costs become unknowable, because Candy does not publish their token cost.

Monthly or yearly: what does a year cost?

The first-year arithmetic, from the published prices:

• Monthly. One month at $9.99 plus 11 months at $13.99: $9.99 + $153.89 = $163.88.
• 3 Months. Four payments of $26.97: $107.88.
• 12 Months. One payment: $47.88.

Yearly saves $116 against monthly and $60 against quarterly. The catch is that you pay $47.88 up front, and the refund window is only 24 hours. Try the free account first, then decide.

Refund and cancellation rules

Candy’s terms set narrow refund rules. Read them before you pay for a year.

• Subscriptions. You must request a refund within 24 hours of payment. Requests are denied if you have used more than 20 tokens. Only card payments are refundable.
• Token packs. The same 24-hour window applies, but any token use denies the refund. Only card purchases qualify.
• EU and UK. You may withdraw within 14 days of the confirmation email for the initial purchase, without a reason. The refund is reduced for services already used, and renewals are not covered.
• Cancellation. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time in Settings. Access continues to the end of the paid period, and you are not charged for the next one.
• Tokens at the end. When the subscription ends, remaining tokens expire. They are not refunded and do not move to a new subscription.
• Renewals. If your default card fails, the terms allow Candy to charge a backup payment method for the same amount.

Crypto payments fall outside the refund rule, since only card payments are refundable.

Payment methods

The subscriptions page lists Apple Pay, Visa and Mastercard. The homepage FAQ also lists crypto: BTC, ETH, USDC, Litecoin “and others”. Charges appear under the name EverAI, and the homepage describes it as a neutral merchant name.

How does Candy’s price compare?

Set against the other companion apps on our desk, Candy is near the bottom on yearly price and near the bottom on included media. These are each app’s own published prices.

The per-month figures are the yearly price divided by 12. Candy’s advantage is price; its weak point is that it does not publish what a photo, a clip or a call costs in tokens.

Cheaper alternatives

Candy’s 12-month plan is already one of the lowest yearly prices on our Companions desk. Only DreamGF’s first year is lower. What you give up is media: 100 tokens is a small grant, and the per-action costs are not published. These options cost less or give more for a similar price. • Nomi: free chat with no card. Nomi costs $0 to start, and its Launch yearly plan is $59.99 on the App Store, about $5.00 a month. That is $12.11 more a year than Candy, but you can chat free before you pay anything. It is our best-value pick.
• DreamGF: lower first year. The yearly plan is $44.28 for the first year, $3.60 less than Candy. It renews at $88.56, and DreamGF refunds nothing after any use.
• Kindroid: free preview. A one-time preview gives 50 messages and 5 selfies at no cost. Paid plans cost more, at $159.99 a year on the App Store.
• ourdream.ai: more media in the plan. It costs $119.88 a year but its homepage FAQ lists 1,000 dreamcoins a month, with published prices per action.

Prices are in US dollars as shown to a US visitor. Where Candy does not publish a figure, we say “Not stated” and do not guess. Where we use a third-party figure, such as the token cost of an image, we label it as third-party.

Which one should you choose?

Pay for Candy AI yearly if you mostly want to chat and like its character builder. $47.88 a year is $3.99 a month, and chat is unlimited. Use the free account first, because the refund window is 24 hours and closes after 20 tokens.

Avoid the monthly plan unless you only want one month. At $13.99 after the first month, a year costs $163.88.

Choose Nomi instead if you want to try before you pay. Its chat is free with no card, and its Launch yearly plan is $59.99.

Choose ourdream.ai or Kindroid if photos, calls and video matter more than price. Candy’s 100 tokens and unpublished per-action costs make heavy media use hard to budget.

Whatever you choose, note the renewal date. Candy renews automatically, and a renewal is not covered by the EU and UK 14-day withdrawal right.
