What does Nomi cost?

Nomi has a free tier, two paid plans and five credit packs. Nomi publishes its prices through its App Store listing; the website has no public price table. These are the US App Store prices.

The per-month figures are our arithmetic: $59.99 ÷ 12 and $99.99 ÷ 12. Standard quarterly works out to $39.99 ÷ 3 = $13.33 a month.

What does each plan include?

Free. Chat with your Nomi, with no card needed. Nomi’s refund policy describes what stays free after a downgrade: your Nomis remain on the account and one-on-one chats continue. Group chats, video creation and voice messages and calls become read-only, which tells you they are paid features.

Launch and Standard. Not stated. The App Store listing names both plans and their prices, but neither the listing nor Nomi’s website says what separates them. Nomi’s feature list across the app covers short, medium and long-term memory, the Mind Map memory view, selfies, image art, AI video, voice messages, hands-free voice calls and group chats. Which of these each plan includes, and the daily limits on each, are not published.

That is the main gap in Nomi’s pricing. You can see the difference only on the plan screen inside the app, so check it before you pay for a year.

What do Nomi Credits cost?

Nomi Credits pay for videos and for requests after your daily limits run out. Nomi’s video guide says videos “draw from your daily requests first”, and credits are used only after that.

The largest pack costs less than half as much per credit as the smallest. Not stated: how many credits a video, a selfie or an extra request costs, and how large the daily limits are on each plan. Without those, you cannot work out a price per video before you buy.

What does a realistic month cost?

Four typical months, with our arithmetic. Because daily limits and per-video credit costs are not published, the credit figures are budgets, not exact costs.

Chat only. Free: $0 a month.

Daily companion on a budget. Launch yearly: $59.99 ÷ 12 = $5.00 a month.

Daily companion with paid features. Calls, video and group chats are paid features, and Nomi does not say which plan includes each. The cheapest paid option is Launch yearly: $59.99 ÷ 12 = $5.00 a month.

Heavy video user, monthly. Standard monthly plus a 100-credit pack: $15.99 + $9.99 = $25.98 a month. With a 225-credit pack instead: $15.99 + $19.99 = $35.98.

If you buy credits every month, the larger packs pay off. 600 credits at $49.99 costs $0.083 each, a third less than the 40-pack’s $0.125.

Monthly, quarterly or yearly?

• Launch. 12 × $9.99 = $119.88, against $59.99 yearly. Yearly saves $59.89, half the monthly cost.
• Standard, monthly. 12 × $15.99 = $191.88.
• Standard, quarterly. 4 × $39.99 = $159.96. Saves $31.92 against monthly.
• Standard, yearly. $99.99. Saves $91.89 against monthly and $59.97 against quarterly.

Nomi’s yearly discount is large: about 48% on Standard and 50% on Launch. That is much more than Kindroid’s 17%. The risk is the refund rule, below. Use the free tier long enough to know you will stay before paying for a year.

Nomi is not the cheapest yearly plan, but it offers free chat with no card. That is why it is our best-value pick.

What are you paying for?

Nomi’s case rests on memory, and the free tier lets you judge it before you pay. Its memory has three layers, short-term, medium-term and long-term, and the Mind Map view shows what your Nomi has learned. If your Nomi still remembers your job, your plans and last week’s conversation after a week of free chat, the paid plans give you the same memory with calls, video and group chats on top.

What paying adds, from Nomi’s own downgrade rules:

• Group chats with several Nomis at once
• Video creation of your Nomi
• Voice messages and hands-free voice calls

What paying does not clearly add is more chat. Free users keep one-on-one chat after a downgrade, so the subscription is mainly for media and calls. If you only want to text, the free tier may be all you need.

How can you keep the cost down?

Stay free until you need media. Chat is free, so pay only when you want calls, video or group chats. Many readers never need more than the free tier.

Pay yearly, not monthly. Yearly halves the price on both plans: $59.99 against $119.88 for Launch, and $99.99 against $191.88 for Standard.

Use daily requests first. Videos draw from your daily requests before credits. If you make one or two videos a day, you may not need credits at all.

Buy credits in bulk only if you use them. The 1,800-pack is the cheapest per credit, at about $0.056, but $99.99 is a lot to put into credits if you are not sure you will use them. The policy gives no refunds for unused time, and it does not mention refunds on credits.

Buy where refunds are possible. App Store purchases can go through Apple’s refund request process. Nomi’s own policy offers refunds only at its discretion.

Refunds and cancellation

Refunds. The refund policy says customers “are not eligible for refunds due to buyers remorse, lack of usage, or dissatisfaction”. Nomi may offer a partial or full refund at its sole discretion. Except as the terms state, all payments are non-refundable. There is no refund or credit for partial months, downgrades, unused time after closing your account, or account termination. For problems, contact support@nomi.ai. The policy does not mention App Store purchases; those normally follow Apple’s own refund process.

Cancellation. Plans renew automatically. When you cancel, benefits last to the end of the paid period.

Downgrades. Downgrading may cost you content, features or account capacity. Nomi says existing content is not currently removed, but it does not guarantee it.

Payment methods. In the apps, through the App Store or Google Play. Web payment methods and web prices are not stated on Nomi’s public pages.

Cheaper alternatives

We read Nomi’s App Store listing, refund policy, cancellation policy, terms, video guide and selfies guide, last checked on 25 October 2026. Every price here comes from the US App Store listing, which is where Nomi publishes them. Store prices can differ by country.

All per-month, per-credit and yearly figures are our own arithmetic from published prices, and each shows its working. Which one should you choose?

Start free. Chat costs nothing and needs no card. Use it for a week or two to see whether Nomi’s memory works for you.

Choose Launch yearly ($59.99) if you want a paid plan at the lowest price. Check its features on the plan screen first, since they are not published.

Choose Standard yearly ($99.99) if you want the fuller plan (which features each plan adds is not stated). It saves $91.89 against paying monthly.

Buy credits in larger packs if you make videos often. The 600-pack costs a third less per credit than the 40-pack.

Choose Candy AI only if $12 a year matters more than free chat and published media features.

Choose Kindroid if you want live video calls, written adult-content rules and the most documented memory, and can pay $159.99 a year. That is $60 more than Nomi Standard yearly and $100 more than Launch yearly.
