We compared Nureta and Candy AI’s video feature on the same ten video dimensions we use for the whole desk. Every fact comes from each tool’s own home, FAQ, plans, privacy, terms and guideline pages. The two products are built for different jobs. Nureta is a video app. It turns a written story, or one or two photos of consenting adults, into a video of about three minutes with sound. Candy AI is an AI companion app. Its Premium plan includes 18+ videos of your companion character, alongside chat, images and voice.

What do the two tools have in common?

Both are web services for adult video, and both accept crypto. Both ban minors, non-consensual content and real people. Both tie a video to a character: Nureta to faces from your photos or your story, Candy AI to your companion.

Past that, they differ a lot. Nureta publishes its clip length, resolution, sound, price per clip and retention period. Candy AI publishes none of those for video. The question for most readers is whether a companion app’s video perk can do the job of a video tool.

How do Nureta and Candy AI compare, dimension by dimension?

Nureta leads on input, length, quality, consistency, cost and privacy. Candy AI leads on payment and age checks. Content rules and user reports are even.

Input modes

Nureta publishes its inputs. Candy AI does not describe them in detail.

With Nureta, you write a text story or script, or use a story starter, and Nureta generates the whole video from it. For image-to-video, you add one or two reference photos of consenting adults.

Candy AI says its videos of companions are tailored to your inputs and preferences, and its media features describe short videos made from generated images. It does not publish a step-by-step input method, such as a written prompt or a story. Uploading your own photo as a video source is not described, and its guidelines ban images that resemble real persons.

Nureta renders 5-second clips. Short videos are a single clip, and longer ones are stitched from several scenes into one story video of about three minutes.

Resolution and audio

Nureta’s app renders at 480p. Its Developer API offers 480p, 720p and 1080p, and it lets you set the first and last frame of each shot. Audio is on by default, with ambient sound and voices.

Candy AI’s video resolution: Not stated. Whether its videos have sound: Not stated. Candy AI offers voice messages in companion chat, but it does not say that its videos include audio.

Nureta’s 480p in the app is low. It is still a known number, and the API has a published path to 1080p.

Character consistency

Both keep a character in view, in different ways.

Nureta keeps the same faces from your reference photos in every scene of a video up to about three minutes. Story videos keep the same characters across scenes.

Candy AI’s videos feature your custom or prebuilt AI companion. That gives you one familiar character across chat, images and video. Candy AI does not publish how closely the face holds from video to video, or whether one video can have several scenes.

If you want your companion to appear on video, Candy AI is designed for that. If you want the same people across a multi-scene story, Nureta is.

Content rules

Both publish clear bans.

Nureta allows adult content and bans minors, also as fictional characters, non-consent, real people without consent and public figures. Candy AI allows 18+ videos on Premium and bans minors, images that resemble real persons, non-consensual imagery and bestiality.

Cost per 5-second clip

Nureta publishes its price per clip. Candy AI does not.

Nureta’s first 5-second clip is free with a Google sign-in and no card. It is 480p, with sound and a small watermark. After that, a clip costs $1.29 pay-as-you-go. Bundles start at $3.79 for 30 credits, and 10 credits make one clip. The largest bundle is $39.99 for 440 credits, about $0.91 per clip.

Candy AI’s cost per video: Not stated. Videos use tokens, and Premium includes 100 tokens a month. Premium costs $3.99 a month billed yearly ($47.88 a year), or $9.99 for the first month and then $13.99 a month. Because the token cost per video is not published, you cannot work out how many videos the plan buys.

Here is a worked example. A 3-minute Nureta video costs $46.44 at the pay-as-you-go price, or about $32.72 at the largest bundle’s rate, according to Nureta’s FAQ. Candy AI’s yearly plan has a lower fixed price, but it may not buy even one video of that length, and its pages do not say.

Payment and refunds

Candy AI gives more ways to pay and a narrow refund window. Nureta has one payment method, and purchases are final except failed jobs, which are refunded automatically.

Candy AI takes Visa, MasterCard and crypto (BTC, ETH, USDC and LTC). Plans renew automatically, and charges show under the name EverAI. Its terms allow a refund only if you ask within 24 hours of payment, paid by card, and used 20 tokens or fewer. Users in the EU and UK also have a 14-day withdrawal right on the first purchase, minus a prorated charge for what they used.

Nureta takes only USDC on the Base network, with no card and no subscription. All purchases are final, although failed jobs are refunded automatically. Nothing renews, so there is no plan to cancel. But if you do not hold crypto, Candy AI is far easier to pay for.

Privacy and retention

Nureta publishes tighter rules.

Nureta deletes face photos within 24 hours and does not use them for training. It deletes generated videos after 30 days, so you must download what you want to keep.

Candy AI keeps account data while your account exists and for up to 3 years after your last activity. Its privacy policy says interactions may be de-identified and used to train AI models. A fixed retention period for videos: Not stated.

Age verification

Candy AI publishes a stronger check.

Candy AI requires users to declare that they are 18 or older. It says it may ask for more information to verify age, and its privacy notice lists results of third-party age estimation or verification, depending on where the user is. Nureta asks you to confirm you are 18 or older before you generate. It enforces this on the server and stores the confirmation in a cookie for 30 days. It is a self-confirmation, not an ID check.

User reports

Neither tool has a usable third-party record.

Candy AI’s Trustpilot profile was removed for a guideline breach, and no rating is shown (third-party). Nureta reports more than 50,000 users (a first-party figure).

Nureta wins on six dimensions, and Candy AI wins on two. Content rules and user reports are even.

Where Candy AI wins

• Payment. Visa, MasterCard or crypto, with a discreet billing name and a 24-hour refund window for card payments.
• Age check. Self-declaration, plus third-party age checks depending on location, per its privacy notice.
• Also worth noting. Video is one part of a full companion app with chat, images and a large character library, at a low yearly price. This is not a dimension win, but it matters if you want a companion first.

Where Nureta wins

• Story input. You write a story, and Nureta turns it into a joined video with sound.
• Length. About three minutes, against a length Candy AI does not state.
• Known output. 480p in the app, sound by default, and up to 1080p with first and last frame control on the Developer API.
• Consistency. The same faces from your photos in every scene of the story.
• Cost. A free first clip, then $1.29 per clip, against a token cost per video that Candy AI does not publish.

Which one should you choose?

For video, choose Nureta. It is a video tool first, and it publishes what you get: story videos of about three minutes with sound, the same characters in every scene, and $1.29 per 5-second clip with no subscription. You can try it with a free first clip before you pay anything.

Know its limits before you buy. The app renders at 480p, and higher resolution is on the Developer API. You can pay only with USDC on Base. Purchases are final, except failed jobs. Videos are deleted after 30 days, so download them.

Choose Candy AI if a companion is what you want, and an occasional video of that companion is a bonus. Its yearly plan is cheap, it takes cards, and it uses third-party age checks where the law requires them. Accept that it does not publish video length, resolution or token cost per video, and that your interactions may train its models.
