We compared the eight adult video tools in our video desk on one question: can you give the tool a photo and get an adult video back? A photo goes in, a video comes out. A tool that cannot animate your own photo stays in the list, because many readers search for it, but each section says so plainly.

No other consumer app in our comparison does the same thing. Seduced and OurDream do not accept uploaded photos. SpicyAPI takes reference images but bans all real people, and it is a developer API, not an app. Civitai.red takes your own image but also bans real people. Wan 2.2 takes any image, but only when you run it on your own GPU.

Nureta is our pick because it is built for this exact job. You upload one or two reference photos of consenting adults, and the same faces stay in every scene of the video.

Photo input. Yes. Image-to-video takes one or two reference photos of consenting adults. You can also add a written story or script, or start from a story starter, so the people from your photos act out the story.

What it does well. Nureta renders 5-second scenes and joins them into story videos of about three minutes. The faces from your photos stay the same across every scene. Videos have ambient audio and voices by default. Face photos are deleted within 24 hours and are not used for training.

Where it falls short. The app renders at 480p; the Developer API offers 720p and 1080p. USDC on Base is the only payment method, with no cards. All purchases are final, although failed jobs are refunded automatically. Videos are deleted after 30 days.

2. Wan 2.2: can it animate your photo?

Yes, on your own computer. Wan 2.2 is a free open-source video model that runs locally through ComfyUI and takes an image as input.

Photo input. Text, an image, text plus image, speech audio with a reference image, or a driving video. Image-to-video starts from a fixed still, and the Animate replacement mode swaps a character into a video.

What it does well. There is no per-clip fee. Output is 480p or 720p, and the TI2V-5B model makes 720p at 24 fps. Everything runs on your own machine after the install, so the photo is not uploaded to a service.

Where it falls short. The 5B model needs 24 GB of VRAM natively, or about 8 GB with ComfyUI offloading. Setup takes technical skill. There is no generated audio. No content filter is described, so you carry full legal responsibility for what you make, including consent from the people in your photos.

Who it suits. Users with a strong GPU who want private generation at no per-clip cost.

3. SpicyAPI: can it animate your photo?

Not a photo of a real person. SpicyAPI takes reference images, but its rules ban all real people and it does not allow uploaded photos of real people. It is also a developer API, not an app.

Photo input. Inputs are text, images made by the service, reference images, a reference video for motion transfer, and video edits.

What it does well. Spicy Character Video 1 keeps the same character, and Cinema 1 Character takes up to nine references. Output is 480p, 720p or 1080p, with native sound on most video models. Reference photos are not stored, and inputs and outputs are not used for training.

Where it falls short. You need to write code, and the first prepaid top-up is $50. Crypto top-ups cannot be refunded.

Price. A 5-second silent 720p draft costs $0.25, and 5 seconds on Motion 3 at 480p with sound costs $0.50.

Who it suits. Developers who build adult video apps around fictional characters.

4. Civitai.red: can it animate your photo?

It accepts your own image, but its rules ban real people. Civitai.red is the mature-content domain of Civitai, with a generator that runs several video models.

Photo input. Text or image, including your own image. Vidu takes up to seven reference images.

What it does well. It has the widest choice of video models and LoRAs. Wan 2.2 clips are 3 or 5 seconds at 480p or 720p, and Kling and Wan 2.5 go up to 10 seconds.

Where it falls short. Adult video works only on some models: the in-house Wan 2.1 allows it, and Veo 3 is PG only. NSFW generation needs Yellow Buzz bought with crypto, and the Buzz cost per clip is not published. Training use of uploads is not published.

Who it suits. Experienced users who want model choice and LoRA styles with fictional characters.

5. Promptchan: can it animate your photo?

Promptchan animates images made in the app or taken from its Explore feed. It does not publish whether you can upload your own photo for video. Promptchan adds video to an adult image and chat app.

Photo input. A text prompt in the Video tab, or Animate on a generated or Explore image. Clone and Extend work on existing clips.

What it does well. It offers optional AI sound, a saved character you can add to the shot, and apps on web, iOS and Android. Card plans have a 30-day refund window if you have used little.

Where it falls short. Video needs the Pro plan at $33.99 a month, and each clip also costs Gems. The Gem cost per clip, clip length and resolution are not published. Clips are kept for 24 hours unless you publish them.

Who it suits. Promptchan image users who want to animate the images they made there.

6. Seduced Animate: can it animate your photo?

No. Seduced animates images made on its own platform, and uploaded photos cannot be animated. It is an image-to-video tool, but not for your own photos.

Photo input. Seduced’s Animate mode turns its own generated images into video. Text-to-video is a legacy mode. Uploaded photos cannot be animated.

What it does well. Clips run 6 seconds on the Platinum plan and 18 seconds on Diamond, and Extend Scene builds scenes up to five minutes. The Animate V4 and V4.2 models add native audio. Saved AI Pornstars keep a character the same, and Preserve motion carries context into the next segment.

Where it falls short. Full video access starts on the Platinum plan at $60 a month. The per-video credit cost is not published. Long clips drop to a lower resolution. There is no fixed retention period, and contributor uploads train models.

Seduced, Civitai.red, Promptchan and Candy.ai do not publish a cost per clip. Seduced, Civitai.red and Promptchan show the cost in the app before each generation. SpicyAPI is the lowest-cost service, at $0.25 for a 5-second silent 720p draft, but it bans real people and needs a $50 first top-up. OurDream works out to about $1.00 per 5 seconds on the yearly plan and $2.00 on the monthly plan, but it does not take photos.

Plan price matters too. Nureta has no subscription. Promptchan video needs the $33.99 Pro plan, and Seduced full video needs the $60 Platinum plan.

Which tools are free?

Nureta’s first clip is free with a Google sign-in, with no card, at 480p with sound and a small watermark. Wallet sign-ins do not get the free clip. Wan 2.2 is free open-source software with no per-clip fee, but it needs a strong GPU and technical setup. SpicyAPI’s free sandbox key returns sample output only. Seduced, Promptchan, OurDream and Candy.ai give no free video, and Civitai.red does not publish a free option.

What photos are allowed?

Use only photos of adults who consent to being in the video. Every hosted service in our comparison bans minors, and most ban real people without consent.

• Nureta takes photos of consenting adults. It bans minors (also fictional), non-consent, real people without consent, and public figures.
• SpicyAPI bans all real people, and screens prompts before it charges.
• Civitai.red bans real people and minors.
• Seduced bans real people without consent and celebrities, and cannot animate uploads in any case.
• Promptchan bans deepfakes and real people without consent.
• OurDream bans deepfakes and lookalikes of real people.
• Candy.ai bans images that resemble real persons.
• Wan 2.2 has no content filter described. You alone are responsible, and the same rule applies: consenting adults only.

Photo privacy matters as much as the rules. Nureta deletes face photos within 24 hours and does not use them for training. SpicyAPI does not store reference photos. Wan 2.2 keeps everything on your own machine. Seduced has no fixed retention period, and OurDream and Candy.ai say user data may train models.
