SpicyChat Pricing (2026): Tiers, Yearly Cost, Free Plan

SpicyChat costs $5.95, $19.95 or $29.95 a month since September 2026, or $60 to $299.95 a year. What each tier adds, the free plan and cheaper options.

Quick answer

SpicyChat has three paid tiers: Get A Taste at $5.95 a month, True Supporter at $19.95 and I'm All In at $29.95, or $60, $199.95 and $299.95 a year. There are no per-message or per-image charges, but the free and $5.95 tiers keep only 4K tokens of context. For less money, JanitorAI is our pick: its free tier has about 9K context, and janitor+ costs $8.25 a month billed yearly. Checked to .

  • I'm All In gives up to 32K context and text-to-speech for $29.95 a month.
  • Paying I'm All In yearly saves $59.45 against 12 monthly payments.

What does SpicyChat cost?

SpicyChat has a free tier and three paid tiers. Prices rose in September 2026. The pricing FAQ says “This was purely a price change”, so no features were removed.

TierMonthlyYearlyYearly per monthContextWhat it adds
Free$0$0$04KDefault models, ads
Get A Taste$5.95$60.00$5.004KNo ads, Memory Manager, 10 personas

I’m All In$29.95$299.95$25.00Up to 32KText-to-speech, priority generation, all models, generation settings

Euro prices match the US dollar prices. UK prices are £4.95, £16.95 and £25.95 a month, or £50.00, £169.95 and £259.95 a year.

Before the September 2026 change, the tiers cost $5.00, $14.95 and $24.95 a month, and $50.00, $149.95 and $249.95 a year. That is a rise of $0.95, $5.00 and $5.00 a month, or $10, $50 and $50 a year.

What does each tier include?

Each paid tier includes everything in the tiers below it. The premium-features documentation lists:

Free. Chat with default models, 4K tokens of context, ads. SpicyChat does not publish the free message cap. Paid tiers get unlimited messages and skip waiting lines.

Get A Taste ($5.95). No ads, 4K context, the Memory Manager for adding key memories by hand, and up to 10 user personas. The context is the same as free, so the main gains are no ads, no waiting lines and the Memory Manager.

True Supporter ($19.95). 8K context, Semantic Memory 2.0 (characters write their own memories into the Memory Manager), replies up to 300 tokens instead of the default 180, Conversation Images made from the character’s avatar and the last message, access to some advanced models, and up to 50 personas.

I’m All In ($29.95). Text-to-speech with character voices, up to 32K context (capped at each model’s maximum, and the docs say “Not every model supports 32K”), priority generation, Conversation Images for all characters including your own, temperature and sampling controls, all models including SpicyXL, and up to 100 personas.

Are there per-message or per-image costs?

No. SpicyChat does not sell tokens, credits or packs on its public pricing documents. Every feature is unlocked by tier.

This makes SpicyChat easy to budget. Your monthly cost is your tier price, nothing more. The catch is that images and voice are locked behind the $19.95 and $29.95 tiers.

What does a realistic month cost?

Pick the tier by the feature you need, then decide monthly or yearly. Our arithmetic for four common readers:

Casual chat. The free tier costs $0. You accept ads, waiting lines at busy times and 4K context, which is short for long roleplay.

Daily chat without ads. Get A Taste: $5.95 a month, or $60 ÷ 12 = $5.00 a month yearly. Context stays at 4K.

Long roleplay with images. True Supporter doubles context to 8K and adds Conversation Images: $19.95 a month, or $199.95 ÷ 12 = $16.66 a month yearly.

Everything, with voice. I’m All In: $29.95 a month, or $299.95 ÷ 12 = $25.00 a month yearly.

So the cost of each step up is clear. Going from 4K to 8K context costs $14.00 a month ($19.95 − $5.95). Adding text-to-speech and 32K context costs another $10.00 a month ($29.95 − $19.95).

Monthly or yearly: what does a year cost?

Twelve monthly payments against one yearly payment:

  • Get A Taste. 12 × $5.95 = $71.40, against $60.00 yearly. Yearly saves $11.40.
  • True Supporter. 12 × $19.95 = $239.40, against $199.95 yearly. Yearly saves $39.45.
  • I’m All In. 12 × $29.95 = $359.40, against $299.95 yearly. Yearly saves $59.45.

The pricing FAQ says switching from monthly to annual is prorated: your remaining time is credited toward the yearly plan. The yearly plan is charged at current prices.

Price locks, refunds and cancellation

Price lock. Existing subscribers keep their old price while the subscription stays active and unchanged. Any change of plan, including an upgrade, a downgrade or a switch from monthly to yearly, moves you to current prices, and the old price does not return. If you cancel, you can reactivate before the period ends and keep your price. After the subscription fully expires, the old price is gone. SpicyChat does not promise the locked price forever, but says any change would be announced in advance.

Failed payments. The system retries automatically. The FAQ says to contact support if it still fails after two or three attempts.

Refunds. Not stated. Neither the pricing FAQ nor the documentation publishes a refund policy.

Payment methods. Not stated in the documentation. The subscribe page shows them only at checkout.

Platforms. Web and Android. There is no App Store app on iOS, so iPhone users subscribe on the web.

How does SpicyChat’s price compare?

Context length is the best single measure of value on a chat site, because it decides how much of the story the character remembers. Here is what each site on our Text desk charges for its entry and its main paid tier, from their own pricing pages.

SiteFree tier contextEntry paid priceContext on entry paid tierBilled yearly
SpicyChat4K$5.95 a month4K (8K at $19.95)$60.00 ($5.00 a month)
JanitorAIAbout 9k$12.99 a month5x free, about 45k by our arithmetic$99 ($8.25 a month)
CrushOn.AI8K$4.90 a month billed yearly16K$58.88
NovelAITrial only (50 text generations)$10 a monthVaries by tier; Opus ($25) has the largestNot stated
SillyTavernDepends on your modelFree softwareDepends on your modelFree

The JanitorAI figure is our sum: 5 times about 9k is about 45K tokens. On these numbers, SpicyChat charges the most for context: $19.95 a month for 8K, while JanitorAI’s free tier already gives about 9k.

How can you keep the cost down?

Use the free tier first. It shows you the character library and the default models before you pay anything.

Skip Get A Taste if you want memory. It keeps 4K context, the same as free. Its value is no ads, no waiting lines and the Memory Manager.

Pay yearly once you are sure. The saving runs from $11.40 to $59.45 a year, and switching from monthly is prorated.

Keep an old price. If you subscribed before September 2026, any plan change moves you to the new prices. Reactivate before the period ends if you cancel by mistake.

Cheaper alternatives

SpicyChat’s tiers are simple, but its context is short for the price: 4K on the free and $5.95 tiers, and 8K at $19.95. These options give more context for less. The full field is in our best NSFW AI chat and roleplay sites report, and the two most-used sites go head to head in JanitorAI vs SpicyChat.

  • JanitorAI: our pick. The free tier has no published message cap and about 9K tokens of context, more than twice SpicyChat’s free 4K. janitor+ costs $12.99 a month or $99 a year ($8.25 a month) and gives 5x the free context. That is $11.70 a month less than True Supporter billed monthly.
  • CrushOn.AI: low entry price. Standard costs $4.90 a month billed yearly ($58.88 a year) with 16K memory. Its free tier has 8K memory and 100 credits a month. Chats are used to train its models.
  • NovelAI: unlimited text for $10. Tablet costs $10 a month with unlimited text generation and encrypted stories. It is built for writing rather than character chat.
  • SillyTavern: free software. It is free and open source. You install it and connect a model, so the real cost is your API bill or your own hardware.

How we compared

We read SpicyChat’s subscribe page, its September 2026 pricing update FAQ and its premium-features, models, context and mobile-app documentation, last checked on 25 October 2026. The subscribe page loads its prices in the browser, so the prices here come from the pricing FAQ, which lists both the old and new figures.

All yearly and per-month totals are our own sums of the published prices, and each shows its arithmetic. Where SpicyChat does not publish a figure, such as the free message cap, refund rules or payment methods, we say “Not stated”. We compared SpicyChat against the other sites on our Text desk using their own published prices. The full process is on our methodology page.

Which one should you choose?

Stay on the free tier if you chat casually and can live with ads and short memory.

Choose Get A Taste yearly ($60, or $5.00 a month) if ads and waiting lines are the problem. Do not buy it for memory: context stays at 4K.

Choose True Supporter only if you want SpicyChat’s Conversation Images and its character library. For context alone, janitor+ gives more for less.

Choose I’m All In if you want text-to-speech and the largest models in one plan. Pay yearly to save $59.45.

Choose JanitorAI if price matters most. Its free tier already has about twice SpicyChat’s free context, and janitor+ costs $8.25 a month billed yearly.

If you already pay SpicyChat’s pre-September price, do not change your plan unless you need to: any change moves you to the new prices.
